Do RiR hen's have eggs earlier than other breeds

I have three RIR's that are almost 19 wks. old. One of them layed her first egg last Saturday and has layed an egg each day since. I also have a black wyandotte the same age and she is one of four of those. She layed her first egg the day after the RIR and has also been regular. I have ten chickens I got on March 18, at just a day or two old, from Rural King. They are maturing nicely, seem happy and healthy and I'm having fun with them.

Our RIR was the first to lay at 21 weeks; we've had some issues with soft eggs but hopefully it'll work out as she gets more experience. Our EE came next at about 24 weeks and lays pretty much every day with nice, hard shells. Our SLW has yet to lay but has finally begun to squat when I bend down to pet her. She's our late bloomer, I guess--she's almost 26 weeks.

I have rir's that are 21 weeks and still no eggs, also have light sussex same age and still have no eggs!!

My RIR laid her first egg at 23 weeks. She lays one egg a day for 12 days or more before her break. We get large dark brown eggs from her. Also, her eggs are first to go when being used.

My Sussex laid at 21 weeks and I also get one egg a day from her. She is on her 10th egg in a row for today if she doesn't take a break.
