Sounds like I just need to make the catching, squashing, hanging, then packing into a routine. I want this guy to be in line before his spurs get much longer, and yeah, he's goignto get regular spur trimming.
My husband has two dutch bantam roos. One is a sweety, the other is an a**. Unfortunately my husband taught them both to fly up and ride his hat or shoulder when they were young so now the pain in the butt roo flies up and tries to beat us up through our hats. He's spent quite a lot of time in midair as a rooster missile after being snatched off and flung. I think he's actually starting to enjoy being launched.
