Do roosters have favourite girlfriends

(My GLW ain't very beautiful... 😳 She is the buff Brahma rooster's favorite, poor thing is probably going through feather loss from that, and possibly molting....)(She's gone for months and months without any decent feathering, so I came to the inclusion that she's "his" favorite gal.)

The short answer is YES. Most definitely!
Poor thing, buff brahma roosters are cool looking, they got these tall beefy legs that always remind me of pants The way the feathers align!

I know. Thanks! His name is Bo.
The cockerel in my profile is a son out of him.
Wow! He has a cool looking son! i always find it so cool to breed chickens and have the chicks from that, just cool to see the charateristics of both male and female. Im looking to breed my bantom and hedemora! hope that works.

My cockerel is sticking to the same aged hen for right now. Once he proves to them that he's a rooster, they'll all belong to him. As far as a favorite girlfriend.... Yes. They do. And that's where you want chicken saddles, because their favorite girlfriend will eventually have a bald back from over mating. ;)

Yep, they get a bit to much with the hens, ive saddles are great for that, though i havent got mine one yet actually, cause he seems to more so do tidbitting then mating (though im sure hes going to mate her soon, her combs bright red)

I have a small separate flock with 9 hens, and the buff Brahma rooster, they are in the feather recovery pen. Out of the nine hens, there are a few that have fine feathering, she is the only terrible-looking one. (The GLW)
I think your GLW is molting.

My Lucy is going through a very rough molt. Perfect time to cull her since she is almost bald. I only say this cause the thought comes to mind every time I see her. 😆

(Thanks! And I agree, it is very fun!)
This is the Bootsie, Bo's son!
His mother was a bantam red Cochin!
