Do silkies lay in winter?

Do silkies lay much in the fall and winter? Do they go broddy in the winter season? Have my first silkies and just wondering. Some are about old enough to lay I think.

I know this sounds crazy, but my silkies lay more in the winter than they do in the spring/summer. They go broody anytime of the year. (I have four broodies now!)

silkieluver is right! my silkies and my standards lay more in the winter than any other time!

I have a Silkie that is about a year old and she quit laying about 2 months ago.
Any Ideas as to why?

Everyone else is laying just fine.
