Might be a silly question but here goes,
We got our ladies about a week ago, 2 of them are not laying any eggs even though they are grown hens.
I have read that it is normal and that it can take weeks for them to lay after a move.
But what happens , does the egg production go on hold?
could the eggs be stuck?
even if they production comes to a temporary stand still, wouldnt there have been an egg allready there the same day we got them and then the trauma to stop the production of new eggs?
What happened to the egg allready there waiting to come out?
Do they get absorbed back by the body ?
My two non layers are lazy and have poor apitite compared to the others, they sleep alot and stick together,
should I worry ?
Chicken Greetings!
