Well, I got a closer look at my black girl. She doesn't have the copper coloring around her neck, so I think she is one of those astronaut breeds, or whatever it's called. Here is a closer photo of her.

Interestingly enough, she was the only one that we could actually pet when we got them. We did have to wait until she was perched in the coop, but she didn't mind if we pet her. The others would go nuts and jump off the perch and squawk incessantly at us...LOL She is a great gal for sure!!
