do these look like 9wk old Delawares?

Hi MMH says these are Delawares but they have no Black markings so far.

They dont look alot like Dels to me in that pic, but here are some I had a year ago, 8 weeks old for comparison:

Without the black, they don't look like Delawares to me either.

Could be white Plymouth Rocks, maybe.

I don't see the black speckles on the hackle feathers or any black in the tail feathers that characterize the Delaware breed. I would say no. Compare the pic that Cyn. posted for you and you'll see what I mean.

I think they look like white rocks also.....here is a pic of mine about same age to compare

Thank you , I thought they looked more like rocks , I am not happy with McMurry they were supposed to be Delawares I ordered 1 and the papers said they sent an extra and now I see they didn't send any.
And I picked the Delaware for my Roo because it said they are good protectors.
I guess I'll have to look up the characteristics of the white Rock.

That is a barred rock. They are the same age but the white one is way bigger. Is the white rock you got a rooster? Or did you not get a rooster at all?

thank you I thought it was a cookoo maran I did not order a barred rock.
All 3 of those Are Roo's lucky me.

I did order a cookoo maran hen for the brown eggs but alas I didn't get that either.

Well, the barred rock and the cuckoo marans do look very much alike. You will find out if you get some dark eggs
