DO these need to get ready for the freezer??

The following are all about 16 weeks old. I am pretty sure the RIR's are roosters, but not sure about the Barred Rock's. There is also a pic of a red sex link I am not sure of. And yes, I am new to chickens so I wouldn't have known when they were chicks if the sex link was male of female..lol

Out of 12 chicks, I'm gonna be upset if this many are roo's! They were all supposed to be hens knowing i might get one or two, but 6! Please tell me some good news! Thanks in advance!

......i know how you feel...i had 7 roos out of 14 chicks!
but they are very pretty!!!

those are not red sexlinks. If they where, they would be white, the hens are red. They are most likey RSL x RSL(red sex link), which does not make sexlinks. A sexlink is a hybrid between two certain colors so the chicks will be sexlinked at birth.


They are all roosters.

Look like all roos to me, too. But if your "red sexlinks" are really red sexlinks, then they have girl coloring. I don't think they're red sexlinks, though. They look like production reds.
