DO these need to get ready for the freezer??

All boy's for sure, but need some fattening up some, were they hatchery stock ??.

I'd put them on finisher feed for at least a month to fatten them up, they really don't look quite ready for freezer camp yet!

yep , all rooster...for sure not any sex link........their parent may have been ,they are not.

fryer are butcher at 12 weeks ,after that they are roaster...the kneel is hard after 12 weeks...plus roosters at that age unless capon, don't put much meat on per lb of feed....if mine they would be butchered tomorrow or better 4 weeks earlier.

Yes, they came from a local hatchery. I kinda feel duped with so many and those birds passed off as something they weren't. I guess he saw me coming. Thanks everyone!! Now I know why he was so friendly...lol I guess a new feed is called for this weekend!

Yes sorry to say........... the coined hatchery Phrase....... dual purpose means you will allways be disappointed when you look at them in the roaster. They make a pant load of $$$ on that Pant load of bull LOL, but the hatchery loyalist love getting duped and love it cause they don't know a real DP chicken if it bit them on the head. live and learn perhaps your next batch from a better source will serve you better. good luck.
