i know I would have to keep moving them to new locations but I think they’re pretty cool looking and it might be fun. I wonder if they’ll make any difference though ( as a hawk deterrent)

Who has time for that?!
i do lol as part of my daily morning routine cleaning and refilling duck pools and goose pools. it would just take a minute while a pool is filling to walk over move the owl that’s all, easy peasy.
I read that you’re supposed to move them frequently because the Hawks aren’t so stupid if they see it in the same spot all the time they know somethings up

Make a scare crow! Your scent on old shoes and clothes will deter predators.If you have an old hat, wig and sunglasses to put on the scare crow it'll be more realistic. Sprinkle ammonia on the fence,the scent is carried for miles away. Hair clippings work too.
