For the loud adults? Oh yes, they are indeed very noisy, sometimes... They greatly annoy my husband, but I usually like their chatter and I really like them as watchdogs. They were useless until about six months old as they alarmed at everything, but now they are pretty selective. I can tell when they are really concerned and I come running to chase off the hawk or whatever is bothering them. I had a duck grabbed by a bobcat off of our pond. I had heard the guineas alarming a few minutes before but couldn’t find what they were concerned about. I then heard the ducks alarm and made it in time to rescue the duck from the jaws of a bobcat!
