WOW Oma, you must have some really bad keets! I almost always hatch keets with my turkeys and raise them togathen and have never had a problem. I usually hatch them togather because they are both 28 days and the keets teach the poults to eat and drink so I don't have to!!!!!!!
Mine where bought as day olds but where brooded with chickens and turkeys. We free ranged everyone together at the time. They were fine until breeding season came. Then the guinea would chase the turkeys around and around until they where so worn out. Then they ganged up and killed them. I thought I just had a bad bunch so I tried it again. This time when I seen they where starting the same thing, I got rid of them too. I did have one single guinea that my cats had found from a wild bunch that wonders on our street. It was about 3 weeks old and we had her about 6 months. I think she thought she was a turkey. She died from a freak accident so I don't know if she whould have been mean too.
I like alot of things about guinea (watch dogs and snake and rabbit control) but I won't try again.
