Do they get bigger??

My EE hen and Wyandotte are both laying about 2 weeks now and there eggs are soooo small are they going to get bigger???

Mine are gradually getting bigger (they are 6 months old), but all but a few are still smaller than store bought eggs.

It's my understanding that when they molt, the eggs get bigger.

Three weeks after they started the eggs got bigger. I'd say most of mine are size large now.

But when they are done, they start laying again. At that point the eggs are supposed to get bigger. (haven't been through it myself yet, but some people here have said it)

I never noticed my older hen's eggs getter bigger, but they did, anyway. I have 3 or 4 pullets laying now, I get 2 eggs from the youngins a day, and I saved them up so that all of us could enjoy them sunny-side-up this morning. Yum!
