Ahhhh...nice mix up. One or two of mine started throwing straw all over the coop today.....it was all comfy looking and now looks a mess from throwing straw."I think it's another sign.

Devon, the egg was another small pullet egg but a step in the right direction especially seeing as my 2 1- year old birds that I got to bridge the gap from the chicks decided to stop laying for the past month.....

Congratulations! Glad to hear it, I got the skunk today but that was after 2- days of eggs so hopefully she's just getting into gear. Come on Devon!

Their combs and wattles are still pale and dry looking.
They will plump up and get much redder and waxy looking, you'll know it when you see it.

Well, nothing today. They didn't get to free range today and they are mad.....Hope mad enough to lay n egg. Maybe this weekend.
