Do they need more help?

This guy has been pipped since 8 am. I did put a bit of a hole in the membrane bc it hasn't moved a few hours ago.

He still hasn't gone anywhere so I chipped some shell away.

The membrane is very white. So I put some veg oil on it. But he seems to have a lot of water gurgling our of his mouth.

Does he need more help or let him be?

There was a vein beside him that I left untouched.

Thanks. I did read prior to our hatch. He was gurgling bubbles so I'm not sure if it was a humidity issue. Of the 18 BCM only 5 hatched successfully (watch them all be roos lol).so I'm notbsure if I did something wrong that way....i purchaed 12 eggs and she gave me an extra half doze. If older eggs. the rest were legbars, same bought 12 and she gave me an extra 6. 10 of them hatched.

Who knows, is what I always think. As long as you kept the climate and schedule correct, not
Much you can do. Incubation is a very unnatural way for chicks to hatch - which most likely has the most bearing than anything else on the outcome.
