Do ducks use their feathers for making nests??

I ask only because our ducks have never done this other than when they went broody on empty nests earlier this year. Never when they're laying daily.
Yesterday while checking the coop cam, I saw a bunch of feathers in the corner of the coop. It scared me so I had messaged my dad to have someone check on the flock since I'm currently staying at my grandmother's house. Luckily all birds were accounted for.
.

Yes, I could just ride my bike over since it's only a 11 minute bike ride but I'm unable to do that due to back pain from work yesterday. I'm currently resting my back today.

My ducks only do that when they are broody/starting to go broody.
They could be molting...my coop has a bunch of feathers in it right now because mine just finished molting.

Yes, they do use feathers for nests. But, mine are currently molting as well and so piles of feathers can be from when they molt.
