I'm having a doozy of a time finding a lady friend for my tom. He's so lonely and I'm just not a turkey. I can find him a jake to hang with. Would it work?

I wouldn't see any issues if there are no females around. I've seen wild toms go at it for the attention of ladies, it was never a major or deadly fight though.

I had two toms/jakes with four hens. the toms would get into some nasty fights that I had to break up.
they would chest thump each other, try to spur, and when one would finally get ahold of the other by the head he wouldn't let go until I stepped in. It was hard to change their attitudes once the fight was broke up - given a chance they'd go right back at it.
they were never aggressive toward me, even when i was right in the middle of it.
they never fought with the hens and the hens never fought with each other.

I had a lonely hen turkey and got her a tom.It worked for about 2 weeks and then he tried to start fights with her.She ended up almost killing him and she left a pretty nasty hole on his head.I had to give him away.I guess she didn't like him?
I don't think two toms would fight if you don't have females, especially if one male is younger than the other.

I have a bunch of Toms, all different ages & breeds and some hens. They all seem to get along except for the occasional puff up show down or neck wrestling.

They do however like to harass the roosters for fun.
