Do turkeys get bumblefoot?

Yes. However, the pads on the bottoms of the feet are considerably tougher in proportion to wt. We've treated a couple of our toms for ripped off spurs and Osage Orange thorn punctures, but they're pretty tough. It is one thing to soak and dress a rooster's `paw', another to do the same for a 30+lb. tom.
