Absolute beginner here. We have 4 chicks who are 4 weeks old. One is really fiesty and flys at and chases the other 3. It has a more prominent comb but I’m not sure if the color is considered

“pale”. Is it too soon to tell? Thank you in advance!

The comb looks pink to me and, although I can't see the legs that well, they do look bigger than a pullet's would be. Looks like a cockerel to me!
Also, you're right about behaviors giving a clue as well. Often cockerels have more confidence early on.
Thank you! Here’s a pic of the legs, standing next to another chick. The one on the right is the one in question.

Welcome!
Definitely a cockerel! Will your cousin trade him for another pullet? That's my best advice, move him on soonest. Maybe next year, if you can have roosters where you live, try raising more chicks and raising a cockerel. This boy is already being difficult, and needs hens and a rooster to make him eat some humble pie.

We dug into the county ordinance a bit more and it turns out since we’re on 5 acres we can keep him. However we have two potential homes for him so that might be best. My cousin doesn’t have any pullets left but she has a lead on a Silkie hen so we might go that route. Thank you for the feedback!!
