Do We Really Need to Quarantine?

All of my flock comes from one local store that has been in business for over 30 years. They all come out of the same pen at the store. I've replaced a few birds without quarantining them with no problems. Have I just been lucky?

When I get birds from people I regularly do business from, I don't do it. I do however still give the bird a good once over to check.
