Do we think she’s laying yet?

She’s around 18 weeks. I know I can check her vent but I really don’t want to do that and it’s not that big of a deal. Just curious.

I feel like she got red a little while back but I wasn’t paying close attention. And I haven’t noticed a super small egg but I have noticed one that was rounder and more cream colored than we are used to.

She should start laying soon if she hasn't already. I had a new layer who was laying huge brown eggs and would leave the nesting area without a single egg song. After a few weeks, she started announcing us lol. Look for any new colored or smaller than usual eggs. they might be hers.
