Do Welsummmer have leg problems?

I am wondering about this too.
We did have respiratory symptoms in our flock just after I first noticed the lameness, though I never made a connection between the two symptoms before. We have, however, been in contact with an avian vet who recommended antibiotics. We have given them antibiotics according to her instructions and electrolytes for ten days and the respiratory symptoms have cleared up. The birds seem healthy and happy now. Yet these two remain lame. The vet had said if one died to send it for testing but we had no losses. It has been extremely wet - rainy, foggy and muggy all summer. I am sure that adds to the spread of any type of disease.
