Do White Embden geese have to be in pairs?

Mother goose only sat on two eggs but the one didn't hatch. The little gosling is doing great(it is even being a mother to the baby guineas!). Its only 10 days old but its out with the other two pairs of geese. Is this a problem with this breed?

I *thought* the when they were hatched naturally (by a mama) that the loneliness factor was not an issue even if there was only one- Because they have their mama they are fine. BUT I am not an authority on this so I hope you can get some more replies!

I have a feeling your probably right. They are all very close as of right now! The gosling is sooo adorable!
