Do you and your chickens have a vet?

We cannot find a vet in our area (rural Nova Scotia, Canada) who will treat chickens. When we had sick birds we had to call a vet with Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and do a consultation over the phone, then send a bird for a necropsy. We have the written report from the necropsy. However, no local vets to consult. I guess there are vets in other areas of NS who will treat chickens, but not around here.
