Do You Believe in Ghosts?

It started in the TV front room they said it was over loaded extension Cords But I don't know the house was very old and was not when there were codes as to how to build them so they were build very cheaply I think it was in the wall myself. The fire had burnt for a half hour before anyone knew and then the popping sounds of the glass breaking got the neighbors alerted. They called for my son but no answer I talked to the mortician a few days ago thinking about his card I had in front of me it said he wanted to be a donor but being he was in a fire and had smoke a soot in his lung well it is to late but for me I was curious. The mortician said he was able to donate his organs because the fire ( chemicals' I think in the house when it burns (Any house that is) damages the organs I figure I might let people know here in case they are walking the same wicked road I now walk it is unforgiving. The house I grew up in is now only in my memory and a few pictures I have it had to be hauled off it was up to code and couldn't be made up to code and no matter had to be pushed down and took off. I however am glad I have contact with a lady that lives around there she said she would be happy to take pictures for me when ever I want. I have had much in my life go on and bad things just have not stopped yet. I just found out my Aunt is dying of Cancer of the kidneys and my husband's brother's son his wife had a child at 26 weeks lived 4 months but took of life support Nov 9th and in the ground on the 10th so I am not having a good year but it is not as bad as April, 2,2012 when two cops were knocking on my door to have me call the cops where my son and father lived n Levittown, PA, I don't know how I got through it I don't think any one can tell you this either some how you just do.

this is the most recent picture of his headstone it had snowed.

Take care thanks they are fine they are together my son and father they were in life and so shall they be in death.

That's terrible. A real issue with extension cords is that the fire can and will start in the wall as the overloaded circuit heats up. I do not like to overload any circuit, and my husband more than doubled the circuits in the house we own in California (built circa 1962 - 1963.) We increased service to 200 amps at the same time in order to have sufficient power for all of the devices that weren't even in existence at the time the house was built.

People, please never put anything but fuses of the right size in fuse boxes, and never tape down circuit breakers so they can't blow. Never let anyone other than a licensed, qualified electrician do work on your wiring - here in California we have houses that have what are known as "Mexican remodels", done by unlicensed contractors and electricians. I looked at one that had had the circuits "upgraded" by someone who simply replaced the breakers on the circuits with breakers that were way to large for the diameter of the wiring. It was literally a fire waiting to happen. Upgrading circuits requires making sure the wire is large enough for the amperage.

Back in the 1970s I escaped from a fire in a very old house; that fire wasn't the circuitry - which was a miracle given how many of the students living in it had way overloaded them - it was an unattended candle.

Henny, would you do me an enormous favor? Make sure you have smoke alarms in every room where you live now, and that they have current batteries. It is good to change them twice a year - we do it at New Year's Eve and Memorial Day.

Because of escaping from a fire, I am literally terrified of house fires.

We have BUILT IN smoke detectors in my new house. And the my father had smoke detector to but the fire dept. said they were not working I don't know how they can say that since the smoke detectors were so burnt up so bad that you could get the button to work.

I have been in a fire in 1980 the house caught on fire we think it was that my father would get up for work and give our dog a bone they think a hot ash from his cigarette fell in the trash can (this is where it started fire burns up and that is what it was at the trash can) I woke up thinking it was dad burning something on the stove burner but I was to go back to sleep I got up and looked out the window I was upstairs like my son was across from his anyhow I looked down and saw flames rolling in a reflection in the kitchen I yelled fire it was a SAt. and 2 foot of snow on the ground I got to the top of the stairs but the hat was so much my mother ran up the stairs I in bare feet took me and drug me down the steps she told me to get in the card hers wouldn't start but my car did no one came out as they did with David. The fire man said that if I didn't get up then I most likely would not of woke up ( DEAD)

David's grand mother on his father's side died in a fire the house in which my son and father lived had TWO FIRES one in 1980 and nothing in 2012 I find it is odd that we his grand mother I and David was in a fire but there is only two fatalities.

My husband was a EMT for a company he worked for he knows all the stuff we need here and I have insured the house UR HOUSE for as much as I can so if it catches on fire and is like my father's we are covered to replace it. We my sister and I had a option to rebuild it but we decided it was not worth it neither of us lived in PA and we really didn't want to rebuild if my father had lived we no doubt would of rebuilt but not as big of a house.

My son in case any one has this in mind or going through this My son died of smoke a soot in the lungs and it happened so fast he really didn't have much time and he was gone before he knew what happened he was not burnt as bad as I thought and he was to be a organ donor but since he had smoke a soot he was not a candidate for donating his organ the smoke hurt the organs so he was not able to.

Also if this happens to anyone reading this the first 6 months was hard I bad days I was so crippled from the lost of my son my Father I think he was ready to go. And the things I thought of I didn't ID the body only dad and David was to be in there it is possible that a robber got in and it was the robber and my father in the house it is possible but not probable but the mortician found the tattoo David had on his arm and that was a for sure it was him.

I have thought I was going nuts really bonkers it was the new year THIS YEAR and I thought I have to accept my son was in the coffin we put in the ground. David always called to remind of things and he called to tell me of what he was doing and going and well when he didn't call on special day and then not on my birthday I had to admit David was gone I seemed to think he was somewhere and had not been in the fire. I am on a grief site and they tell me it was normal that the mind tries to protect you from what happened I don't or did not relive it but the fact was true.

I now have aunt dying of cancer of the kidney who know when she will go or how bad she is I don't know I don't want to call my other aunt she has enough on her mind.

Well thanks for listening how do you all like his headstone??
