It started in the TV front room they said it was over loaded extension Cords But I don't know the house was very old and was not when there were codes as to how to build them so they were build very cheaply I think it was in the wall myself. The fire had burnt for a half hour before anyone knew and then the popping sounds of the glass breaking got the neighbors alerted. They called for my son but no answer I talked to the mortician a few days ago thinking about his card I had in front of me it said he wanted to be a donor but being he was in a fire and had smoke a soot in his lung well it is to late but for me I was curious. The mortician said he was able to donate his organs because the fire ( chemicals' I think in the house when it burns (Any house that is) damages the organs I figure I might let people know here in case they are walking the same wicked road I now walk it is unforgiving. The house I grew up in is now only in my memory and a few pictures I have it had to be hauled off it was up to code and couldn't be made up to code and no matter had to be pushed down and took off. I however am glad I have contact with a lady that lives around there she said she would be happy to take pictures for me when ever I want. I have had much in my life go on and bad things just have not stopped yet. I just found out my Aunt is dying of Cancer of the kidneys and my husband's brother's son his wife had a child at 26 weeks lived 4 months but took of life support Nov 9th and in the ground on the 10th so I am not having a good year but it is not as bad as April, 2,2012 when two cops were knocking on my door to have me call the cops where my son and father lived n Levittown, PA, I don't know how I got through it I don't think any one can tell you this either some how you just do.
this is the most recent picture of his headstone it had snowed.
Take care thanks they are fine they are together my son and father they were in life and so shall they be in death.

That's terrible. A real issue with extension cords is that the fire can and will start in the wall as the overloaded circuit heats up. I do not like to overload any circuit, and my husband more than doubled the circuits in the house we own in California (built circa 1962 - 1963.) We increased service to 200 amps at the same time in order to have sufficient power for all of the devices that weren't even in existence at the time the house was built.
People, please never put anything but fuses of the right size in fuse boxes, and never tape down circuit breakers so they can't blow. Never let anyone other than a licensed, qualified electrician do work on your wiring - here in California we have houses that have what are known as "Mexican remodels", done by unlicensed contractors and electricians. I looked at one that had had the circuits "upgraded" by someone who simply replaced the breakers on the circuits with breakers that were way to large for the diameter of the wiring. It was literally a fire waiting to happen. Upgrading circuits requires making sure the wire is large enough for the amperage.
