Do you believe in Werewolves?

Yes I do!!!!!

Think about the term "It must be a full moon" Ah a werewolf believer!

Are not crazy things happening, higher crime rates, odd behaviors, just a different kind of mood, not all associated to to the lunar cycle??????!

That is the Werewolf! The physical hairy wolf type creature, does not need to be present for the Werewolf to exist........

Same goes for Vampires... The vampire is the individual that drains you energy makes you feel tired. "sucks" the life out of you..

We all know those type of people!!!!!!

I think most fantasy is based on some type of reality.

I firmly believe in mermaids. ghosts. and other such stuff.

The world is full of mystery, if others can believe in a cloud floating deity, well, I don't see how my ideas can be that far fetched.

I like to believe in fantastical things but I am a skeptic through and through. If someone tells me they can willfully change from human to animal I ask them to show me in person or with unedited video. Never has anyone been able to give me that, so I don't believe them.

The stories from all over the world cannot be blatantly ignored about shape shifters and werewolves, but they can, in most cases, be explained.
Hallucinogenic fungus and mold in and on the food driving people into madness. Older cultures wearing full pelts of animals, shaped to resemble the animal, commonly used for hunting camouflage. Mental disorders in which a person is wholly convinced of their transformation, linked to paranoia, delusional states and hallucinations.

As for how the change happens, basic mammal physiology is pretty much the same. The differences lie in the shapes more than numbers.
If a human could turn into a wolf, they would be fairly large for a wolf, but not quite an unbelievable size. Wolves stand about 3 feet tall at the shoulder, and are 4-6 feet from nose to butt. Wolves weigh anywhere between 80 and 120 pounds depending on where they live and the species. A werewolf wouldn't really look all that different from a wolf, your hair color would determine your fur color, your height and weight determine your size and your basic abilities wouldn't change much at all. The biggest difference would be that you would have fewer teeth as wolves have 40 and humans have 32.
A physical change like that would burn a lot of energy, would be incredibly painful even with endorphins, and if you aren't prepared for it, it could drive you into madness. All explanations for the savage hunger and lashing out without reason that a human should be capable of maintaining.

Until I see it before my own eyes, I will continue to believe that werewolves are legends born of stories about night hunters cloaked in a wolf hide and people gone mad from molding bread.

As for the lunar cycle and rises in crimes and crazy people, that myth has been studied and proven false time and again by psychologists and criminologists. It perhaps rose to common lore along side the diagnosis of Lycanthropy, the mental disorder in which you believe you are turning into a wolf, and the fact that a full moon provides ample light for criminal activities.

I don't beleive but in the rural area where my parents live there is a strange Choctaw family. The men are handsome and rumored to be able to turn into wolves. I always thought it was odd...I mean, how does a story like that get started? I've never seen or read anything Twilight but the commercials made me remember it.
