Do you dream about your chickens?

Apparently I do!

Last night I dreamt that we were taking a long vacation. Our crew cab truck was stuffed to the roof, our six year old DS was driving

, and all three hens were running loose inside the cab with us. I was worried they'd poop in the truck, but the worst thing that happened was when my little EE Desdemona found a bowl of whipped cream, stepped in it and then wiped her foot all over my face.

I'd love to have that dream analyzed.

I have been waiting so long to go pick up my chicks (and I still have until the 24th!)

I can't stop thinking about them and worrying about brooder space.

I dreamed the other night that they were not happy with their brooder space and it was cramped- they told me. lol!

I dreamed that my backyard was my office, and that they put my underling's desk in the crappiest part of the coop. No matter how fast she got her work done, the coop never got any cleaner.

When I told her about my dream, she almost cried. Then she laughed at me.

I had most of my chicken dreams when my first - time broody leghorn was sitting on eggs. I must have been really anxious. In one dream they hatched out the size of large bugs, and the other chickens were chasing them around the yard trying to eat them! I was frantically racing around trying to grab whoever I could.

My first time incubating, I dreamed that puppies hatched out of the eggs, and I was so upset!
And the only chicken that hatched popped out it's legs and then ran away while still in the egg, like a cartoon character....

I had a dream where a penguin was eating my chicks and I had to reach down its throat to save them. That dream sucked!
