Do You Ever Freak Yourself Out?

I freak myself out all the time. Hubby travels a LOT for work - left today and will be back Saturday - and I now have to sleep with the bathroom light on because I imagine lots of wonderful things. I swear I am paranoid......

Never fails when I am home alone and get to watch whatever I want, it ends up being some stupid horror flick -- the rest of the night I am jumping at dust.

Well its all my fault. I was reading "humanoid sightings" on a web page, loads of them, from 1930s up to 2009.

It was like a car wreck, I couldnt stop looking.

I am a single mom and I work pm shift which means I get home at midnight. I HATE walking into a dark house alone out in the middle of nowhere. I know the dogs would be barking if someone were in there, but what if they were in there so long that they got used to them????????? I am seriously scared of the dark!!!

Thats what "I" always think when I get home!!! What is someone or something is in there???? Only for them to be in there, Max wouldnt be alive and kicking.(He doesnt "get used to" or "make friends".)
Sigh. I am not really a scaredy cat, just have a very vivid imagination.

I always freak myself out. I guess i'm more of a scardy cat :Roll sometimes i get into that whats that noise and everything starts to scare me especially when the glass would creak from the wind outside that is the most anoying thing ever. Then running upstairs and jumping into my bed and watching any dark shadows in the room. Most of the shadows are me cowering under the blankets though lol. but for some reason i never get scared when i am with anyone else or animals. if the cats sitting on the couch its like wow. theres nothign to worry about

I'm probalby going to have a bad night now that i read this post :Roll

I dont get freaked out when I am with someone else either. And even when I do, I WILL go investigate if necessary. I REALLY dont like that.

If Max had been outside with me, I wouldnt have been so spooked either.
Just listening to that "crunch, crunch, crunch" of something walking was making my hair stand on end.
Stupid squirrel...or rat...yeah...thats what it was!!!
