Do you guys name your chicks?

Quote:
LOVE "Rosanne Rosannadanna"!! I actually named one of my chicks "Gilda" after Gilda Radner...

In total I have:

Alabama (named after the leading lady character in "True Romance")
Beatrice (named after the character in "Much Ado About Nothing")
Bronte (named after Emily Bronte who wrote my favorite poem "High Waving Heather")
Buttercup (named after the title character in "The Princess Bride")
Gilda (Gilda Radner)
Marie Antoinette (my white silkie

)
Mrs. Featherbottom (named after Tobias' alter ego on "Arrested Development")
Sally (named after Meg Ryan's character in "When Harry Met Sally")
Sophie (named after Clea Duvall's character on HBO's "Carnivale")

More to come...

Yep! I named all of mine that are my pets. I did not name the meat birds (except in jest - Pot Pie, Supper, Dinner, Lunch etc). For my babies, I have:

Sophia and Chloe - Black Australorps
Abigail and Rebekah - Golden Laced Wyandottes (named after two of our great nieces)
Tess - Dominque (DH named her)
Bubbles - Salmon Faverolle (named by two of our great nieces but I was going to call her Anneliese)
Roza - NH Red
Wyatt - NH Red Roo (the one we are keeping)
Stu - NH Red (freezer camp candidate) freebie from MMH
Sammy - ? Cuckoo Marans Roo (freezer camp candidate) freebie from MMH

Our Cayuga ducklings are Kiera and Gabrielle (DH named her).

Of the ones I got duplicates of, I can tell my birds apart. Phew, cause I was worried about that.

I went onto baby name websites to look up potential names. I had a whole list and then narrowed it down from there to the above names. I'll keep the other names .... ya know... just in case we get some more.....
