Age? Looks like a pullet.
I sex by leg color for Barred Rocks. More accurate then Headspot. There was literally no big difference between my two Heritage Plymouth Barred Rocks headspots.I just figured that out, but the females have a smaller white spot, don't they? If not, please correct me. I only own Cochin Bantams.
I think a pullet, but depending on age she looks a little suspicious.
Pullets.Is this thread still active? I have these 2 california whites that are throwing me for a loop. They're mixed with white leghorns and I know they're known for getting comb early. 6 1/2 weeks old. 2 different chicks. The one I'm holding isn't usually red at all. I think its fushed because I chased it down and caught it. We are also pretty warm outside.
The first one's head looks course, but I see zero male traits for birds (with LH blood at that) that are almost 7 weeks old.@Overo Mare
Oh thank God. On my other post people were saying cockerels so I was getting a bit worried.
