Do you have a housekeeper?

This is the cutest thing, and I just had to share. The little chick on the right in the picture is our resident "housekeeper". I have seen her multiple times cleaning out the waterer when any shavings would get in it. Earlier today, as the chicks were going crazy scratching near the waterer, sure enough shavings got tossed into the water. Here she came, running to get them all out! So cute!!

I don't have a housekeeper chick, but I do have a nurse. In dealing with a poopybutt issue with one of my chicks, I found that she was getting distressed pretty easy. I opted to bring out one of the calmer chicks (a cinnamon queen) and let her sit on my leg while working on the poopy chick and things seemed to go much better. The cinnamon queen is officially my doctors assistant for when I need to work on my chicks!
