Do you have a picture of a BR crossed with a NH Red or RIR?

We're thinking about having Buff Orps, Barred Rocks and New Hampshire Reds but having only one rooster.

So as we're discussing which breed rooster to have, we're wondering what a barred rock x new hampshire red would look like.

Any pics?

I would love to see pics of both, but we would probably have the Barred Rock be the roo.

Hmm, I dont have the ones from my BR over RIR hens, which would be quite similar to the BR over NH hens. I'm sure someone does have pics to post for you, though! Cuban Longtails had some she hatched from me (BR x Buff Orp) and she had an interesting result....one pullet was silvery looking and barred and one was gold looking with barring. Very interesting!

Wouldn't that make a sort of 'crele' colored bird?

ETA: I meant the BR over RIR or NHR

Just hatch 11 chicks from BR rooster over a buckeye hen. all chicks black some with white spot on the head.

In the following thread, there is a pic of a cockerel that is BR over Buff Orpington, the son of my late, great Hawkeye. Cuban Longtails posted it ages ago and I always thought he was so handsome. It would probably be similar with a NH hen, too.
