Do you have a toilet bowl brush in your coop?

I was tired and had a heat headache this evening but the chicks must have their free range time, so outside I sat. After awhile DH came out to sit with me.
He looked around for a moment and then asked me where the "toilet bowl brushes" were.
HUH? What?

Took me a few clicks to realize he was talking about my silkie chicks, Jethro and Ellie Mae.

He can't remember the breeds of the new chicks so he just makes up names for them - the turkens are "ostriches", the speckled sussex are "quail", the EEs are the "ones with funky legs", the salmon faverolles are "the pretty ones" and now I have two toilet bowl brushes.

No but I have swiffers...I'll trade you a swiffer for a toilet bowl brush.

I already have some of the 'pretty ones' and the 'quail'

We also have 'popcorn chicken' in our coop. Those would be the Mille Fleur Cochins that pop up and down when you are trying to feed and water them.
If you want to know if the kids have fed the MFC's, you have to ask them if they fed the popcorn chickens.

A few of ours have had descriptive names not appropriate for a family forum.

I have a toilet bowl brush that I use to clean the waterers. It works great.

Other than that I just have a dustmop.

I love your dustmop and shoeshine boy, Terrie!
I also have two toilet bowl brushes (although I prefer the Swiffer title!) that are adults, and 5 babies.
