Better known as a Moringa (Moringa oleifera) tree. If you don't, you might look into it. It is very nutritious, easy to grow in pots and lots more. 7 times the vitamin C of oranges, 4 times more calcium than milk, 4 times more vitamin A than carrots, 3 times the potassium of bananas, 2 times the protein of yogurt, 2 times the iron of spinach, and EVERY essential amino acid the human body needs. Just get one! I don't sell them or anything, I just am amazed at the benefits in the one tree! Here's a link to a wikapedia article with more info and pic of mine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moringa_oleifera

That's my new herb garden in the background, by the way...

I live in zone 9 in south Texas so I could put mine in the ground, but I'd rather make it a little more 'bushy' and keep it in a pot. They are supposedly easy to germinate, too. I bought mine for about $16.00 and its about 18" tall. They grow 10' (that's feet) per year!

Here's another site that has some recipes. The fruit is a long seed pod. They form where the flowers are so you are supposed to keep the flowers from falling off, if you can. The leaves can be eaten raw in salads and can be dried and powdered and added to smoothies. All sorts of options.
