I'm worried about keeping the four roos I've got.

The little blue polish in the coop with most of the hens has a cute little crow and most often crows IN THE COOP... yeah!

MY GC Marans is a NOISY guy.. he is in rooster prison with my Blue Ameraucana and my big Partridge Cochin.

Come the middle of next month the Blue Ameraucana goes into the coop with the polish, Big Daddy will be in a pen with 5 hens and the GC Maran's will be in a pen with 5 hens.

Then I'm going to set eggs on December 11th so that I can get my first hatch on Jan 1st, 2010.

OMG that's so funny! That first video, watch that poor pullet lay down, her head wiggling, then she lays down further - it's like "Stop already big mouth!".

I LUV longcrowers .
I live in The Netherlands and there is a village here that has a traditional "crowing contest'" > I believe they are langcrowers too . Almost everyone in that village keeps and raises roosters specifically for this contest. Can you imagine? LOL

Yes, my husband and I have been discussing one of these for a while, we live in the country so it would only be us. I'm not sure if I would want that or not. It might not be so funny at 4 in the morning.

That was FUN I played the denzil rooster crowing on my speakers so my 5 roosters could here it. My roosters retreated to the coop & became very quite. I guess they didn't want to meet the Bad Boy that made that crow.
