Paypal has many uses.. I bet anyone can find at least 3 uses for it

Accept Payments
From auctions
From a button on website (even does basic inventory tracking)
With a nifty app on iPhone for person to person sales

Transfer money to Paypay to save for a purchase, then pay for it with the debit card
Debit card can be used at ATM

Transfer to Bank Account when money is needed to pay bills

Those are my reasons

Paypal is a necessary evil.

I have one but they only have as much info as they need... An my checking account number is not part of that.

Paypal is pretty simple and easy to use, I've never had a problem with them in the years that I've used it.

I have Paypal and it's good if you do a lot of financial transactions on the web. I've never had a problem with them either.

I have used paypal for years. I have made many thousands of transactions with Paypal. I have had no problems.

Only thing is be careful of Phishing scams only respond to requests or provide info when logged onto the paypal sight, do not answer emails that look like they are from paypal.
