Thanks! Here are my questions:

1: Can you order chicks in the late summer (early September and late August)
2: Is a run required in a chicken coop?
3: Are chickens okay with loud noise?
4:Are Speckled Sussex hens likely to go broody?
5: If i get an ammonia reducer (it's like bedding) where should i put it? under the bedding?
6: is grit required?

those are my questions! i may form more later.

thanks

Yes, You can order chicks from hatcheries in late august or September.
No, a run is not required for chickens, but is good because it keeps out predators.
Loud noises can stress chickens out and they might stop laying, but loud noises such as cars airplanes, etc, does not bother them at all.
No, speckled sussexes are not really likely to go broody.
Yes, I would put the ammonia producer under the bedding.
Yes, grit is required for chicks, without it they will die.
Hope this all helps you!! I love answering your questions!
