Do you have to let eggs cool before candling?

I try to candle them quickly and return them to mama so that they DON'T cool.

NO! Eggs shouldn't be cold at any point of incubation, you can kill the chicks. If your candling do it as quickly and careful as possibly and try to not let the eggs cool down.

No they need to stay warm. Work quickly!
