Heck yes. Kiss em too. Right smack on the beak.

yup. The brown streaks. I still do it all the time though!!

I hug mine pretty much every day. Poppy is especially soft, though she's fussy. Anisette is the same, but she's even fussier.
I like cuddling Spook when I can, the silly guinea. He's very sweet once I get him on my lap -- just sits there and lets me hug him.

I don't think that I've ever gotten sick from the chickens. I wash my hands after handling them or anything in the run/coop. Sometimes even after touching their eggs, if the eggs are fresh and have stuff on them.

I want Silkies and Cochins someday. All for cuddles and broodiness. Probably mostly cuddles.

I don't kiss them anymore, but I do like to poke their beaks with the tip of my nose. Kind of like my version of a peck to them.
Of course, one must be careful so as to not be pecked in the eye when doing this... I suggest doing this with the sweet birds that don't have a history of pecking everything put in front of them and not the ones that find shiny things like eyeballs very tasty-looking.

If I could I would hug each and every one of my chickens every day! I respect their boundaries, and let them come to me and now I have about 3-4 that will sit with me daily and my favorite who snuggles with me on my shoulder or under my chin. She’s my baby! 😍 She even comes inside on the weekends and watches football with me—well she sleeps, I watch. Hehe.

I try hard not to kiss them at all, but one of my bantam Cochins just LOVES to fly up to see me by landing on the lid of my coffee cup when I’m not looking (it’s a to go cup) so I’m sure I’m drinking microorganisms and poop anyway! 🤢
