Do you keep CD's in your car?

I'm driving to school this year, and I want to keep some CD's in my car. I'm just worrying about them getting hot and warping. I want to keep them in one of the zipper cases with the different "pages" or slots in it, and store them under the seat. I put a sun reflector up in the windshield and crack the windows when its not raining. Will they get to hot, and should I put keep the pouch in my locker during the day to keep them cooler?

I keep a few cds in my car and I've never had an issue with them and it gets really HOT in NJ during the summer. I keep mine in a slot pouch hung from my visor. As long as they are not directly in the sun, you should be fine.

However, if you have an ipod or mp3 player, you could look into hooking it up to play through your radio or cassette player. I have an ipod with all my music on it and it definitely makes things so much easier. Now that I don't leave in the car. Usually I stick it in my purse and take it with me.

Another thing I just thought of: If you have a favorite cd and you are worried about it getting ruined, just make a copy of it. That way you always have the original.

I have the thing that plays my ipod through my radio, but its hard to change songs on the ipod, and you have to look down which distracts your eyes from the road. Plus, the heat zaps the batteries in the adapter, even if its not in the car for very long. I'd rather use cd's.
