I decided after receiving multiple judgy reactions to this question that it was in my best interest to stop counting (out loud for anyone else to hear)........ The worst part is the number of cockerels and roosters i have and that's ALWAYS the very next question adter asking "how many birds" . I don't know what I'd do without the folks here. I don't have any like minded family or friends, so i come here to relax and enjoy the chicken and duck lover fun.

Nobody my age (teenager) understands why I spend so much time with why chickens. Although I like my chickens more than people so I just ignore them.

Yes I have a hen and a roo lo. They are 2 of my oldest along with a black sex link. The lo's are Amelia Eggheart and Marco Polo. The bsl is Margaret.

That is funny these 2 were the most adventurous chicks in the 6pack of "nuggets" I got first. Thus the names.
