Do you know why there are brown eggs? I do

My sister thinks that if the eggs don't come from the store then they have baby chickens in them

, so she won't eat fresh eggs.

Y'all should check out that thread about the funniest things a cityslickers ever said to you. I read on there that brown eggs are the "unwashed" ones and white eggs are bleached!

My DH was told by someone last year, while discussing how we wanted to get chickens, that breasts were the only edible part of chickens.

With as many KFC commercials and stores around? I'm hoping he was stating a personal preference rather than an actual belief. *boggle*

I know a woman, the police capt's wife (read: arm candy) that thinks white eggs mean they are fresh and brown eggs mean they have gone bad.

When my easter eggers first started laying I sent her a dozen green eggs.

my sisterinlaw and husband thought all eggs were brown and they reason why store bought eggs are white was cuz they bleached them in the washing prosses

I bought the brown ones just because I thought they were pretty. Always heard everyone saying how much more nutritious they were supposed to be but how can an egg be any different just because of the color.. I mean its common sense..
