I like Geese because they are beautiful and their eggs taste really nice.
And, if I owned some they would probably be really friendly!


But I don't like Geese because they make that scary honking noise....

I love geese , I have 4 and they bring so much joy to my life, they know their names when I call to them and they have such a close relationship with each other can't stand to be separated. They can be loud and my gander does have an attitude but I can't imagine not having them.

YUP--I love my geese! I have had a flock of Toulouse for 28 years! THey are great birds. THey are noisy only when in breeding season. I sell the eggs to several people in spring for an Irish Easter tradition--I agree-delicious! Later in the season I sell the eggs for hatching and then let my females sit and raise the brood. Geese are so different from other birds because the whole flock takes care of the babies.. IT is simply adorable!
