Somebody stop me....Ideal poultry just sent me an email they marked their RIR’s, Barred Rocks, and Easter Egger PULLETS to $2.40 each.

I can’t order any chicks. It’s going to get cold here soon, I start work again in 2 weeks, and DH will probably divorce me. 24 is enough for now!

Help! Tell me not to! Tell me it’s a bad idea! I can wait til the spring....right? The plan is hatch a batch & place a chick order both in spring. It’s not that far away, right? I can make it til then?

The only reason I made it out of TSC yesterday without any more is they were all straight run except ISAs, and I had enough sense to not bring home 6 possible Roos.

Anyone else think they need an intervention? Let’s talk each other out of bad chicken math decisions!
