I think I must be the only one on this website who chicken math does not affect. I love chicks but hate waiting for the eggs. And the eggs is why I got chickens years ago. I only have three girls now and have room for many more, I just don't want them Guess I'm strange like that. My TSC had pullets for 99¢, I walked out with just my dog food and chicken food

You're not entirely alone, @tripletfeb ! The chicks at our local feed store hold no appeal for me, either. And I only order chicks about every two years.

I mean the dad was Americana and who knows who the mother was because there's a lot of hens. But I still hatched them myself.
