Do You Need To Worm?

Let me just clarify if i use wazine then 2 weeks later use a broad spectrim wormer i will need to toss eggs for 2 weeks after each wormer a total of 4 weeks. Can i cook and give theese eggs to dogs or back to chickens or just dump in trash???? TIA

I got to thinking about my hens when someone was talking about their stools. Not all the girls have firm stools are the time in fact the young ones seem tohave loose stools allot and I thought this was normal? They seem otherwise very healthy in ever sense of the word...

Well you can do the broad spectrum as early as 2 weeks. YOu can do it 4-6 weeks after the initial worming if that works out better - it just needs to be within 6 weeks for sure. And yes, you can feed them back to dogs, chickens, etc.

Well it's normal for them to have cecal droppings that are more lose; perhaps you're just noticing them. And younger birds are going through immune fights til they're 4-5 months old. Immune fights always stress the beneficial bacteria of the gut, leaving birds more susceptible to runnier droppings.

First thing I would do would be to buffer the good bacterial load with a good probiotic or with yogurt, once a week or once daily if you're seeing a lot of weird droppings. See if that doesn't clear things up a bit.
