There already wild everywhere. Camen Islands, NYC, South Keys Florida, Montana... there are flocks in LA California, Louisiana, Texas, Mexico. There wild ones everywhere. Just more in some areas. South Keys Florida, Carmen Islands There protected. No hunting, & eating them.
Shouldn't be surprising a wild caught bird bred in captivity, can be wild again. Was never tame. Just penned, docile when kept. Still as wild as any zoo animal. They brood well, protective roosters. Aswell as hens . Tough lbs. per lbs. These birds. They stick near water. They need a po d, river, lake shore line to raise there young. They eat the bugs, shells from the water. They like ther feet in water. Will splash in it like a duck if given the chance. The government way of farming doesn't allow for this.
