Golden comet is just another name for Red Sex Link and she does look like a RSL, or Golden Comet. The RIR is a production red. Hatcheries and feed stores will almost always call them RIRs because RIRs are way more popular and well known than Production reds. They do the same with Easter Eggers...

Would this explain why only half of the EE babies I purchased from a big name Hatchery have tufted faces?
