To be honest, so many been helpful. I have learned so much from so many on here. I was "observing from the sidelines" for awhile, so nobody knew that they were helping me at the time! LOL

Side note: The other day I saw a post about somebody named "Frugal". What an awesome guy he is! Kind of reminds me of Dick Proenneke...

Jody(HinkJC) & Cynthia(Speckledhen) were the first to send me eggs.
I don't remember if they were mods yet though, just active helpful members.

I, too, cannot remember the first few to help me as it was probably more about what breeds I had. But I remember the first time I freaked out (not so long ago) about a full crop and JennsPeeps told me right away my favorite hen would live to see another day. Whew. I was so happy I bought her a kitchen-aid stand mixer.
yeah, ask her. I dare ya.
Then I had a crisis during making bread and Miss Jayne was jaynie-on-the-spot, helping to not ruin it.
I love BYC.
